At this workshop, you'll be making wearable art, rethinking waste and transforming old items into new by repurposing what we already have. Breathing new life into old clothes and materials that would otherwise end up in landfill.
BYO garment or accessory- Have an old favourite T-shirt, shirt or Jacket that you no longer wear or one that is falling apart? or perhaps a bag or shoes that need a refresh? Come join us for a reworking & printing session.
We will provide the materials you bring the garment.
Materials provided include fabrics and paints from the WWSU archive - Fabric swatches & trims, waste trash materials, natural pigment & food waste paints, waterbased paints, fabric pens, stencils, needles and embroidery threads will also be provided.
Printing using a variety of different methods - stencils also included.
This event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity, merging DIY customisation & music for an invigorating and inspiring session.
